New Job then Old Friends

Today I started a new job. I'd been getting nowhere with the job hunting. It was soul destroying and I was starting to believe that I was actually completely incapable of doing anything. In October I decided to do something to change this. A few weeks after I had a meeting with them, they liked me, I liked them and today I started. It's a voluntary placement but it's full time and it will prove to me that I am capable and I do have skills.

I'm working as a Group Worker with disadvantaged and vulnerable young people. We use groups such as cooking, baking, music and photography to not only teach them a new usable skill but also build on their soft skills such as confidence, turn taking, self esteem, communication etc. One day and two groups in and I was already really enjoying it.

In the evening we had our Ladies Wine Night round at B's. Scuzz is enjoying using part of B's Samhuinn costume as a bed and looked absolutely adorable.
