Bath bun

I discovered these beauties when I discovered the Apple pie bakery in Ambleside when I moved here in 1990. Whenever I went to Ambleside I would always go here for one as a treat.
In latter years though I go to Ambleside much more I don’t have them as often. They are delicious and when a little stale perfect toasted with lashings of butter!
