Gilroy Garlic Festival

California Girl grew up in Gilroy, "the place she once called home".

We were both saddened to hear of the shooting in Gilroy. It brought back memories of another tragedy which took place in the town where we made our first home together. Dunblane.

These tragedies are very traumatic for the community in which they happen and our thoughts are with the people of Gilroy.

Today’s Blipfoto is a print bought in Gilroy in 1981 and showing the innocent spirit of the Garlic Festival. It is hung in our kitchen next to the refrigerator and we see it every time we open the door.
