Gatekeeper again

MONDAY

Unusually, I went into the office on a Monday as I have some specific deadlines this week and I needed to seek the views of my colleagues.

It was fine sunny and warm when I arrived home and I took a short walk down the lane to find a dozen or so  gatekeeper butterflies in the field.

This evening I cleared out the eaves spouts, which were overflowing during yesterday's storms, at the same time dealt with a wasps' nest, raked the front lawn and cut the grass.
