No soldiers

A memorial was held in Old town over an awful day in town's history. Today 300 years ago the Russians arrived with 394 boats and burned down the whole town. There was no defense left in the town, the soldiers were in other places in the country where the Russians had been before.
Therefore there are no old buildings in town. The oldest building is from about 1720 and I have showed it before here on blip. 

(In the present town's extension there is an older church from 1100 and it was a rural church at that time and it  survived the burnings).
