Tiny Tuesday

It rained in the night and all morning until lunchtime. I thought I wasn't going to be able to take my new macro lens into the garden. A bit later the sun came out and the lavender in the neighbour's garden was teeming with bees and butterflies. My lavender is finishing but the Buddleia is starting to open so I had one or 2 critters in my garden, as well. 
So it is another Peacock Butterfly - my favourite - this time imaged with the 1:1 setting so the image is SOOC with no cropping applied. I am quite pleased with the lens but have to practice  a lot to try to achieve the results of other Blippers which made me want a macro lens.
