The Quiet Ones

A colleague at work was in a meeting today and apparently my name was mentioned as 'the quiet one'.  

I've always been labelled as quiet but I'm really not!  I'm quietly confident and just don't feel the need to be the loudest voice in the room.  I'm not sure why a quiet label always feels like a negative attribute but sometimes you just have to get to know someone a little first and give the 'quiet one' a moment to let them show you who they really are. 

Funnily enough, I've been reading a book by Fearne Cotton called Quiet and the image is one of the drawings from her book which I really like.  Seeing the positives is never a bad thing to do.
