so, sorry, east coasties, but it was gorgeously sunny and pleasantly warm today. except when lola and scout and i were on our walk. we scrambled to get out of the house into the sun. i decided on leather flip flops and no jacket since it was so lovely out. and then this ginormous rain cloud rolled in directly over us. i could literally see the sunny blue skies about ten blocks away from us in all directions. but couldn't get out from under it in time. it poured on us. this was my view from under one of the two trees we took cover under on our run back to the house. blipping took a definite back seat to just getting home. i hope for something better tomorrow.

as i type this, the sun in shining in through our windows and i'd love to be back out there. but lola is napping instead...
