f/2.8

We were at a BBQ and a fellow Canon shooter had a 70-200 f/2.8 along. He let me give it a go. I was impressed with how sharp it was compared to my f/4 version, but my lens is close to ten years old and has undergone one major repair. I'll have to see if the new f/4 version is as sharp as they say as I would hate to have to lug around that beastly f/2.8.
