was the background - for this little house finch - perhaps that’s the reason - she’s looking a bit - perplexed as well - wondering if the idiot - behind the lens - had the settings on her - camera set appropriately - however apparently not - because something went very wrong

of course it doesn’t help - that the lighting on my - balcony at this particular time of - day happens to be sort of touchy - anyway, plus getting a photo - of the birds is precarious - at best so i just - do what i can do - and hope for the best - at least the finch - is in focus - in my mind - that means i can call it..
