A small copper.
I found this bright specimen of a small copper (Lycaena phlaeas) at Kinghorn Loch, Fife.
I was trying to avoid the painted ladies and record what else was around.

The counterpart of this blip was posted by me back in 2011

In the 'extras' I have posted an aberrant meadow brown (Maniola jurtina). It has yellow instead of the usual orange.
