I had a lovely lie in until 9.30am and then got up and took a walk over to the nature reserve. The last time I went over was 15th December and it was completely flooded. Most of the water has now receded but it has left behind lots of squelchy, smelly mud! At one point I thought I was going to have to sacrifice a boot which had sunk about 3 inches into the mud but just about managed to pull it out!!

This photo is really grainy but I liked the robin's quizzical expression!

Today is our last day of relaxing as Rob's football training starts again tomorrow......going to make the most of it!
