Cymbidium & Setting Up
Up early this morning to get to the place where the exhibition is being held to drop off my pics and help out a bit.
It was nice to meet several local photographers ..I am hoping I might find one to go out at night with for some starry shots. There were some beautiful photos being brought in....and I felt a little humbled about my own...and if I deserved to be there....they were so different to the others...almost bordering on digital art rather than straight pics....I had to let it go and feel comfortable in my own expression...they are what they are.
However I was rather surprised at how comfortable I felt around the other folk....especially as I am a bit of a hermit these days.
I have been practicing macro focus stacking....a wee bit more involved...I was please how the spider orchid from a few days came out...but with a stem of these beauties I went back to normal stacking ...15 pics.
It certainly is orchid time around these neck of the woods........they are all flowering in abundance.....might have to find some more to take pics of.
