Lots more people, lots less space

A good day today - lots of sunshine. Mrs M had a bit of shopping to do then we drove along to Poppies Garden Centre for lunch as I needed some compost and a few more plants to fill my last front door pot.

The cafe overlooks Dunstaffnage and the marina. In the background can be seen some of the many new houses being built - it's almost like a new town going up. The infrastructure of Oban remains unchanged, however, in spite of all the new houses being constructed wherever space permits, so the town is becoming very rapidly more clogged up. 1,000 new homes are required, we are told - the fastest growing town in Argyll!  Should we be proud of this?
