Finally...

So after about 2 months and a very helpful Facebook group I've finally managed to identify this little one as a black headed cardinal beetle... It definitely caused some debate, but nice to know I've finally got an answer.
Also nice to know it is a rarer find than the red headed cardinal beetle.
