Sawfly probably?

Maybe even a berberis sawfly.  Insects' colours never cease to amaze me.

Reading about the flash floods in the Yorkshire Dales, I think Sarah and I escaped phenomenally well yesterday.  Today has been much quieter - both on the rain front, thunder front and activities front.  In fact, I got some work done. 

Oh and ate lots of Cr*p and Sh*te. Sometimes, C&S is essential maintenance.
