Teasel

Up early this morning for the first business networking meeting of the year at 06.30.
It happens in a hotel next to the river so when I came out I looked for a subject for today's photo. There was an egret on the opposite bank but it was too far away for my Canon G11 so I put it in macro mode and concentrated on the teasel heads that line the bank. I used fill in flash on this one which looked too bright on the camera monitor but looked OK with some adjustments in Lightroom.
