Water Lily

A bit of a balancing act with Fletcher's leash in one hand and my camera in the other! But it was worth that and all of the heat and humidity at Kanapaha Botanical Gardens this morning, because I was treated to seeing this blue water lily flower. There were lots of pink WL flowers as well as white ones, but I only saw this single, solitary blue one. In the *extra...the Victoria Lilies are in full show! Victoria amazonica...native to the shallow waters of the Amazon River basin and is the national flower of Guyana.
