Paddling

Got grandson no3 for 2 days, including a sleepover.
Had to pick him up and take him for a 9.30am swimming lesson in Arbroath and we called in at Dobbies on the way back and bought some half price seeds - all well in date.
At home we put up the outer of the old tent, picked berries and had a picnic lunch in the tent and saw painted lady and peacock butterflies just outside.
Then planted some of the seeds before going for a walk to the ponds so see what was there. Swans and gulls, a damsel fly, pond skaters, white and painted lady butterflies and plenty of flowers. We did our bit for the reserve and pulled up some Himalayan balsam andpulled a bike out of the burn and he went for a paddle.
The it was Mr Rat's turn to childmind while I went running in the park.
