He’s gettin’ married in the morning

...well on Saturday actually.

It was Mat’s last day before his wedding on Saturday and so we took a few surprises in for him. Off came the tunic and on went a dress...then we made him take his trousers off too. It was warm in the room and he quite liked the ventilation lol. He was a good sport as he wore the veil, tiara, L plates, bride badge and tutu all day....he even drove home in it. I’d sneaked out and stuck cups to the back of his car and inflated gloves on the roof. He was impressed with the willy straws on the wing mirrors too ha ha ha.

There were some treats at tea time and Sue and I broke our strict diets to have a few little naughties too. Lynn had taken in fizzy flavoured water and plastic champagne flutes, we added strawberries to the glasses for the toast....who beets Moet, hey lol.

It was a busy afternoon, but the evening was a bit quieter as the weather was horrendous. We were in Handforth and people couldn’t get to the session as there was still flooding. The A555 from the airport was closed. Bramhall roundabout was flooded and donors were showing me live feed on fb where inflatable boats were out helping people who were stuck. The rain was awful, I hope it has completely wrung itself out now.
