Lighting the Way

Once again from Crieff, this time from the steps of the fountain in James Sq., looking east along the High Street.

It was really the old street-lamp that caught my eye. As a resident Of Crieff, I usually walk past without looking up very often. This time for once I did and 'noticed' how unusual the lamps were - six of them ranged around the Square itself. I know nothing about them - when they were erected & why, but they beat the modern versions hands down.
