Dark Woods...

As I paused in front of this mysterious black gap among the tall trees, I remembered - very very vaguely - that Dante began his journey into the Inferno, aka Hell, via a dark wood. Mmmm, I said to myself, it doesn't really look that bad, but maybe, um, maybe I'll go into it another day....
....and I walked on in the mountain sunshine...
