Back to the Fungus

Lots more rain this afternoon, but this morning was ok enough to grab this picture.

Having flicked through every page of my 'Toadstools of Britain' book, I still cannot be any more than 80% sure that this is a Mycena fungi. As there is a reasonable chance it is, best not eat it as it has the skull and crossbones against it!

Quick trip into Tesco to buy some toys ! Checkout assistant asked - 'what more presents'? Well, yes, but this is for a birthday of one of Emma's friends on Saturday. Then we have our own Alex's birthday in a few weeks time. Just shows that the world doesn't stop spinning just because we had a few days off. Ah well, back to the grindstone... :)
