Greylag goose at Tophill Low ..

Today I went to Tophill Low Nature Reserve's year listing day.


A small group of us walked around the reserve with Richard, the warden, and listed all the species we saw - 68 by the end of the day.

It was great to get out into the bright, crisp air, after being cooped up indoors for a week of festivities!
As usual I had a go at a few flight shots .. and this is one of them.

A lovely way to spend New Year's Day.
