The big one

That's me on the top line - the flight from Brisbane to Duabi, non stop.

What is interesting is the sign above the board talking about duty free shopping continuing. Does the shopping continue at the board, or at the destinations listed on the board, or....?

Had a small panic getting to the airport, with a massive delay on the Bruce Highway down from the Sunshine Coast. A few panic calls to friends to ask if they knew why there was such a huge holdup, and also some calls to the freephone traffic report number.

Got there in the end, and the holdup was due simply to volume of traffic heading back to Brisbane after another leisurely weekend in the Sunny Coast.

I could get used to this.
