Butterfly Bonanza

Painted Ladies, Peacocks, Small Tortoiseshells and Small Whites were enjoying the sunshine on the Buddleia bushes outside Lidl today. I didn't need to shop there but knew they would be there so stopped in the car park for a blip opportunity after having our monthly lunch with two of my old work mates and a visit to another one to wish her a very Happy (significant) Birthday with card and pressie. She's not happy with the big Birthday number but I told her that significant birthdays are just a day older than we were yesterday and living each day is much more important! She's a grandmother and a fantastic knitter so she'll thoroughly enjoy her retirement!

Busy day In the garden yesterday and this afternoon so feeling a bit zapped. We were asked out for supper with friends last night (Backblip) so didn't have to cook which was a real treat and we had a lovely evening. So lovely that I didn't nod off after the coffee!
