Gentleness

"A profusion of pink roses bending ragged in the rain speaks to me of all gentleness and its enduring." wrote the American poet, William Carlos William.
These roses look rather bedraggled after the frosts and icy winds but still continue to bloom bringing a touch of summer to a January day.
