Darter

In Sydney for a couple of days.
A bit cool at night, but perfect 20' days.

Spotted this darter in Iron Cove.
A quick google reveals why we see them standing around with their wings outstretched.
Their feathers aren't waterproof, so they need to hang them out to dry.

Makes swimming easier, however, as less buoyancy.
