Serendipity

Geraniums.

Dad grew these and they were languishing in his back garden without a home so we potted them up in my pots which were spare as the lavenders that were in them have been planted out in the border as they were pot bound and struggling.

The geraniums, I'm told, are of the trailing variety and have just started flowering, which is lovely.

In other news the photo was taken with my new lens, a Sony 85/1.8. I've been using my old Nikon 85/1.8 with an adapter since I moved to the 'dark side' and have decided to go even more 'native'. The Nikon has been donated to a work colleague who takes the most wonderful landscapes. I haven't got the patience or the energy to be up a hill at dawn!
