Real emergency blip

This is the ambulance I called this morning to take Mrs. K. to Accident and Emergency atLancaster Royal Infirmary.

Don’t worry the doctors say she will be with me for a long time yet but I am not allowed to go into the medical details.

The NHS was amazing. Within 10 minutes of calling 999 two first responder volunteers who live in the village were at our house. And within 20 minutes the ambulance and two paramedics had arrived. Given that we live well away from any towns, that was a pretty impressive performance.
