Morning Toilette
When we came back from our camping trip, we were puzzled by a line of white spots across our pavement... Mike saw that they went all the way along under the clothesline, we deduced that swallows must have been perching there.
Sure enough, got up early, quietly unlocked the door, and there they were, grooming themselves. Watched them for ages, suddenly all flying off, and then returning in ones and twos, and eventually all disappearing, wonder where they spend the day...
Went to Luz with Ermelinda to collect more signatures.
Off soon for dinner with the Amigos, including Ricardo's parents, in Redondo. They are having their Ruas Floridas festival, the streets all decorated with thousands of handmade paper flowers and other shapes, each street a different theme, a real community effort. This, by an English woman living here, will give you an idea.
Gratefuls:
- the spectacle of all these swallows
- all the other birds bathing in our bird bath at that hour
- seeing my kids and grandkids on FT, all of them happy
