Match ball.

Probably the only time I’ll handle a ball kicked by a Scotland Rugby team player!

Down at the University training grounds briefly as the Scotland Rugby Team World Cup squad training came to an end (see yesterday’s blip). As the final whistle was blown one of the players kicked this ball, which I retrieved. The feel of the ball was so much better than those of club rugby or mini games. The dots on the surface which make the ball easier to grip and catch were so noticeable.

I’m told a match ball is reduced to £90 (from £100!) on the Scottish Rugby website - or 3 for £150 just now!
