Painted Lady

There were several painted lady butterflies in my garden this morning. They were enjoying nectar brim both the buddleia bushes and the verbena bonariensis flowers. The bees were also enjoying the flowers and I also spotted a goldfinch but not when I had a camera to hand. A lovely sunny day again today and I have just about cleared the path at the back of the garden which has become overgrown with plant growth.
