Nothing as sure as change...

We bought this (potting) table for our wedding reception, we needed something cheap and cheerful to fill a corner of the room (decorated with plants from my mothers garden).  After a stint in storage, it became our changing table for the boys, then it held my cookery books and sewing machine in the new house.  It's now a pot holder in the garden - so the £70 table is doing good service....! 

The change of life for the table follows a call from the husband this morning, as I was driving to see a friend for lunch.  Building work starts on Monday, he said, the kitchen and utility room need to be cleared out by Sunday night.  All is great, aside from the husband being away for the weekend.  

Another lovely day, visiting a friend who lived in the village we used to see, very nice catching up and seeing the boys play nicely with her little boy and girl.
