Grutness Pier

A misty start to the day, but it wasn't long before the sun burned it off, and a beautiful sunny, warm and calm day.   

I've been working in the museum again today, and a fairly quiet day with the lovely day.  There was a small cruise ship in Lerwick.  Plenty to help out with all day.  Boat Week starts on Monday, and plenty to set up.  Packed up the caravan after tea, and headed south for the weekend.  

Looking like it's going to be a lovely weekend, and perfect tonight.  It didn't take long to get the caravan setup, and friend Donald happen to be down too.  While tea was cooking, walkies along the beach with Sammy.  On the way back, a golden glow was sweeping across the sea, a perfect evening to be by the sea.  Taken at the old Grutness pier, Sumburgh.
