Day 11 Barra and Vatersay

The day started with a trip further north on Barra to the beach airport, where two scheduled flights per day arrive from Glasgow and land on the beach. The airport is so small, and has a great little cafe. We rode down the west side of the Island, and over the causeway to Vatersay.
Beautiful sunny day, crystal clear turquoise water and golden sands welcomed us around every corner. Had an afternoon curry at Kisimul cafe, then headed back to the cosy Heathbank Hotel.
50km plus a very hilly 650m of ascent.
