Bringing it in

Bait run this morning. These are mackerel being stored for bait. The fish is transferred from the boat to the barrels, layer of fish and then a layer of salt until the barrel is full. The fish is used as bait for the lobster traps. Lobstering is not an easy job by any means. Chris and his son and daughter pictured here are always busy with a multitude of things. It feels good to be close to a working port and the people of this port in particular.
