Chinese elegance

Good friends and neighbors, Keliang and Liuru joined me in a trip to the Redwoods when we were all new here, about a decade ago. We have remained friends, and this year their nine-year-old grandson is visiting from Hong Kong, and his mother brought these beautiful outfits for Bella and Evan. Evan was too shy to put on his Chinese robes in front of them, but he consented to a little bribery and allowed me to photograph him and his sister.
