Toad of Toad Hall....

A lot of miles today. A load of cull cows to Carlisle by 10 am then across to Hexham mart to wash out and grab lunch in the canteen. Back up the road and baling silage by 2 pm. Got a fair bit done but had to stop to bring in and calve a heifer . The calf was coming breach , but out alive and well eventually.
Just to add to the fun, the arable farm we bale straw from phoned to say they have started cutting winter barley. Well it will need to wait and see what tomorrow brings.
Spotted this handsome fellow hopping across the yard tonight, so brought him in for his photo taken then let him back to where ever he was heading.
