Mega Veg.......

......from the bro-in-law's allotment, Jumbo (OK, that's not it's real horticultural name, more about it's ginormous size!) Golden Beet and Elephant Garlic, 50p coin for size comparison purposes! Think I might try this soda bread recipe for some of the beet and possibly pickle the rest.....luckily the garlic doesn't need much thinking about ;-)

But hey, it's not just a one-way arrangement you know, he got a bag of hosepipe nozzles and connectors that I found in the shed on Thursday in return.....and 'fair exchange is no robbery' as they say ;-)
