Artistic Licence

Venice has been a favourite subject for artists over centuries.
This painting has hung on our wall for years and, as in many other similar pictures of Venice, an artist has depicted sights which can't actually be seen together from the same viewpoint!

I've been away from home for a few days, but took some photos each day and have 'back-blipped' for 30th ,31st December and 1st January.
