In the sky with diamonds

The light was not very kind when I was out with my camera, but I did meet a very talented family of young girls (about 5 of them?).  This girl looked the oldest - I'd guess about 15 - and her voice was in the process of maturing into a pretty fine instrument.  A bit gob-smacked, to be honest, I thought it was the police who were supposed to look young as you age, not buskers!  Also heard one of the little ones perform.  Real talent.

Of course I asked permission for this and talked to the parents, who were quite a laugh.  Mum said their family name was Simmonds, and if I'm not mistaken, this one is Lucy

Apart from that, so far the day's been rather domestic, but I'm about to clock off and read.  Have fun, peeps  xx
