Himalayan birch

This Himalayan birch i planted 12 years ago in our garden is a birch native to the Himalayas,growing at elevations up to 4,500m( 14,800 ft)

Selected variaties are used for landscaping throughout the world, evenwhile some areas of its native habitat are being lost due to overuse of the tree for firewood.
