Contrast on wheels

Most agricultural shows and local gala days in Argyll have some vintage tractors on display.  

Yesterday there were a sizeable number at the Kintyre Show but today at the annual Colintraive  Gala there were only four, though they all looked great and had been lovingly restored .

However  they were joined by  something that you don't see so often ,a Caterham racing car owned by my neighbour John Shiveral who drives it regularly in competitions. .

Quite a contrast, especially when parked outside the Colintraive Bowling Green on a very warm summer Saturday afternoon.
