The funfair comes to Lauder

We arrived back home to find that the funfair had arrived on the local football field.  
This week is the Common Riding festival which originally was a religious event to bless the land and crops of the Burgh- all the local towns take in it turn to have their Riding week.  
There are various event throughout the week with the main one being when between 150 - 200 horse riders commence their ride around the Burgh led by 'The Cornet'.
