Boston United 1 Chester FC 1

After a not particularly brilliant pre-season I wasn’t expecting much from Chester at Boston today. However they were better than anticipated and a draw was a fair result.

This is Boston’s last season at their current ground which is a shame as it is near the town centre and full of character. No doubt it will be replaced by a characterless box on a ring road next to a retail park.
