Up the Tower

Neither of us has visited Portsmouth in years so hadn’t seen the Spinnaker Tower. As a result, it was a mandatory visit this morning followed by lunch at one of the huge number of nearby restaurants.

After lunch we drove out of Portsmouth and went along the coast stopping at the lovely village of Bosham where we had a good walk, Dell Quay and Hayling Island. Finally we drove up to Portsdown Hill Road for an elevated view of Portsmouth. A lovely day and although a little cloudy this morning, the sun made an appearance at various times and we seem to have caught a bit of it!
