End of the day

I am back blipping here!! (Saturday, 3/8/19)

We have had quite a day today. First off, we've been invited to dinner in Godalming by friends from Wonersh church. Exciting!

Some of the morning was spent doing jobs for the Lodge. The spiders here spin webs really fast! :(

We had looked at a dining table in a store in Guildford and today we had to decide whether we were going ahead or not. It is the last day of their sale. We set out just before lunchtime and checked out Wickes as well as Homebase again. Then we went to the furniture shop and took the plunge. We will soon have an oak dining and coffee table. Amazing! Real furniture!

We were home for just enough time to have a cup of tea before going to Godalming. It was at a Beefeater restaurant. Interesting to see their decor is almost similar. We had a fabulous evening with excellent food and conversation. We were enjoying each other's company so much, we got invited back to Chris's house for coffee which is where my blip is from.

Chris and Marian have two cats and this ginger one has only three legs but that doesn't stop him from doing anything. G took this picture halfway through the evening. We said our goodbyes and were home before midnight, tired and very full. A super evening! :)
