The Pines Of Haweswater

The rigg tipped with Pines at the far end of the valley always makes for a good view. We went right up to the tarn if you follow the streams leading left, it was rather windy and unsettled up there. I wanted a good amount of layers to this photo; water, pines, fell side and cloud. One thing I've picked up on is separating features of the photo with curves, basically adding more contrast and shifting the brightness of these layers to create a more dramatic composition.
