Black Swallowtail Butterfly

My garden is in pots on my deck. This year I’ve been very blessed with some different birds and butterflies; this large swallowtail, some hummingbirds and a lovely little golden finch (in addition to the usual assortment of mocking birds and robins). And oh yes, some great bumblebees, honeybees and wasps abound also (none of which bother me).
I expect I could get a bigger assortment and more birds if I fed them. But I’m sorry birdies, since you are not potty-trained, you must rely on the flowers.
When I stepped outside to try to capture more pics, the swallowtail was dancing & swooping around the deck with its partner. Soooo beautiful!
